Osamu Tezuka

This time I will introduce about comic books.
Especially I want to introduce Osamu Tezuka. I like his comic books.
I often read “Black Jack” “Hinotori” “Mitsume ga touru” when I was a child.
He is a manga artist, animator and medical doctor.
He established the technique of the comic books in Japan and the base of the expression of the cartoon of Japan.
He is best known as the creator of Astro Boy. Recently Astro Boy is made into 3DCG film by Hollywood.
He is often credited as the father of anime.
And He is often considered the Japanese equivalent to Walt Disney.
I think he is so great.

Hachinohe to Ichinoseki

While I was heading for Hachinohe 、

I saw scenery and slept.
The advertisement in the train was

peculiar to Aomori and it was interesting.

I arrived at Hachinohe Station at 8:16AM, Augast 19.
Next I transferred to Morioka Station at 8:52AM.

The train that went to Morioka was “Aoimori Tetsudou” not JR.
So I couldn’t be able to use “The Seishun Juhachi Kippu”, I had to buy the ticket for Morioka.

I arrived at Morioka Station at 10:54AM. Morioka Station was quite big.

And I transferred to Ichinoseki Station at 11:06AM.
I was looking at the mountainscape for a long time.

Aomori to Hachinohe

I arrived at Aomori Station at 5:40AM, August 19.
And then I got on a train for Hachinohe Station at 6:10 AM.
While I waiting for the train, I ate calorie mate for breakfast.
Because there were few minutes, I was not able to see the sights in Aomori.
Surprisingly though it is early in the morning,there were students, families and travelers like me.
Though it was a little chilly, it was a pleasant climate for me.
I headed for Hachinohe. It took two hours to go to Hachinohe.

Night Train

I got on a train (Hamanasu) to go to Aomori at 22 o’clock on August 18.

This train arrived at Aomori 5:39 on 19.

This was my first night train,so I got excited!
Hamanasu was blue and not crowded.

I could use two seats. But the seats was hard to sleep for me, so I was very tired.

While I got on the train, I saw night view and ship’s light on the sea.

It was very beautiful. Most of passengers were sleeping at 1 o’clock. But I was not able to sleep and the sky is turning bright.

Preparation for travel

I had prepared for the travel before I set out my travel.
First I went to Sapporo Station to buy The Seishun Juhachi Kippu.

We can buy The Seishun Juhachi Kippu Ticket at Reservation Offices (Midori-no-Madoguchi).
And then I bought a ticket of Hamanasu.Hamanasu is a night train from Sapporo to Aomori.
That is because I want to save money to stay. But I had to pay 5000yen・・・.

Second I decided how to go to Nagoya by trains. I went to Nagoya as I said last week.
I think preparation is important and thinking about a travel is interesting. See you next time.

Travel By Trains

Hello, my name is Yuki Kiya.
In this blog,I will write about my travel which I have done during the summer vacation.

I went to Nagoya (my hometown) from Sapporo by trains and then I used “The Seishun Juhachi Kippu”.

“The Seishun Juhachi Kippu” is a seasonally available railway ticket, which gives you five days of nationwide travel on local and rapid JR trains for 11500Yen,2300 Yen per day. It is very reasonable!

Sapporo→Aomori→Hachinohe→Morioka→Ichinoseki→Sendai→Fukushima→Kuroiso→Utunomiya→Ueno→Tokyo→Atami→Shizuoka→Hamamatsu→Toyohashi→Nagoya

I transferred like this. Because I couldn’t make use of limited express,I had to transfer 15times.
